About
Sdenka Zobeida SALAS PILCO is a teacher currently doing research on ICT in Education.
At Kyoto University she met Alan Kay and did research integrating Squeak-Etoys into the schools and deepened her knowledge about Seymour Papert’s Constructionism.
She has also been continued specializing on ICT in the United States, India and South Korea. Since 2007, she has been working on OLPC Project in the Peruvian Andes with children from Aymara and Quechua communities.
At present, she is coordinating the translation of the XO laptop's SUGAR interface into Aymara and Quechua and training teachers to use XO laptops in the South of PERU.
